The Amana AOC24 us a heavy-duty commercial microwave oven is ideal for quick service restaurants that serve a lot of single portion dishes and warm buns. It has a small "jigsaw" shaped footprint that allows for back-to-back placement. It is easy to use and maintain, it has braille touch pads that are ADA compliant. The control panel is located at the bottom of the unit for convenient access and is angled for easy viewing. Despite its power and capabilities, this microwave is easy to install with its simple plug and play operation.
This unit will increase productivity, it has short cook times for single service applications and are 42% faster than the average. It can melt cheese on burgers in 8 seconds, it heats spinach up from frozen to delicious in 1 minute and 10 seconds. The increased throughput is associated by the door automatically opening only when the cooking cycle is complete and will remain open until it is ready to cook again. The door design does not interfere with kitchen flow and will close with the pushing pad control in one operator motion.
The control pad can have 100 menu items programmed in a single or double digit entry. This can be used to simplify cooking and ensures consistent results that even your least experienced cook can quickly master. It has 11 power levels, including a defrost mode, and four cooking stages. The microwave has a 10 minute digital countdown timer.
