Hobart 6115-1 Portable Vegetable / Potato Peeler
The Hobart 6115-1 portable vegetable/potato peeler will increase the productivity by eliminating the mundane task of peeling. This will free up time, and employees can be assigned to other tasks and responsibilities. This will free up time, and employees can be assigned to other tasks and responsibilities. It'll peel 15 to 20 pounds of potatoes and most root type vegetables in just about 3 minutes. This process will minimize peel waste, and will increase portions per load. It has a peel trap basket that is suspended from the discharge hose, inside the sink.
The lock-in hopper cover is heavy-duty with brushed aluminum and is easily removable for cleaning. The housing has a satin stainless-steel finish. The cylindrical construction is heliarc-welded, stainless-steel. The drive shaft is stainless-steel, this advanced design is for long life and performance. It has a five-minute timer that is adjustable in 1/2 to 5 minutes with 15 seconds markings on a large time dial for consistent results.
The rear mounted water inlet with a 5-foot fill hose is at the sufficient height to meet plumbing codes. The water from the inlet strikes the curved surface of the hopper cover, promoting the interior self-cleaning and preventing and undesirable splash. It has a silicon abrasive disk is 14-3/4" diameter, lightweight fiberglass, and reinforced plastic disk with silicon abrasive permanently bonded for high volume usage.
