Remote Condensers allow you to move the compressor out of the customer environment, providing more reliability, a quieter and cooler environment.
The Ice Machine Condenser Question
Which one is ideal?
- Water-cooled models are quiet, easy to install and do not emit excess heat into the room. However, the trade off is in the cost of the water. Plus, in many areas water-cooled machines are not even allowed so you will need to check with local authorities before choosing one.
- Self-contained air-cooled models are the easiest and cheapest to install. However, they make the most noise and exhaust heat into the surrounding air.
- Remote air-cooled models have a low noise advantage over water-cooled. They also use no more water than a self contained air-cooled model. However they are expensive to install.
