The Vollrath 62177 solid Spoodle® withstands temperatures as high as 230 degrees Fahrenheit for use in a hot pan, and the stopper on the back of the handle secures the unit on a pot to prevent it from sliding in. With a 6-ounce capacity, this spoodle can be used to reduce food waste of mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and vegetables. To indicate its capacity, the Grip 'N Serve® handle is teal, while its antimicrobial coating protects the spoodle from germs. For corrosion resistance, the scoop is made of stainless steel.
