Hobart 6460C-6 Vegetable / Potato Peeler
The Hobart 6460C-6 Vegetable/Potato Peeler ships correctional ready. It has a cylindrical construction, heliarc-welded stainless-steel with a removable NSF approved Lexan liner. The peeler and peel trap unit are glass-beaded stainless-steel. The plastic molded hopper cover is gray. The door, handle, discharge chute, and legs are cast aluminum and ball burnished for durability. At the bottom of the peeler unit is cushioned in a resilient rubber trim holding. The stainless-steel drive shaft has an advanced design for long life and performance.
This peeler will increase productivity in your kitchen by eliminated the mundane task of peeling. Instead of peeling manually, this itme will allow for employees to be assigned to other tasks. In just 3 minutes, 50 to 60 pounds of potatoes, and most root vegetables, can be peeled. Peel waste is minimized and this will provide increased portions per load. It has a simplistic 5 minute timer that adjusts in increments from 1/2 to 5 minutes with 15 second markings on a large timer dial for consistent results.
There is a rear mounted inlet with a 5-foot fill hose for cleanability and it meets plumbing codes. Water from the inlet will strike the curved surface of the hopper cover, promoting interior self-cleaning and preventing undesirable splash.
