With their individual controls, the two wells in the Vollrath 38116 hot food table can be set at different temperatures to accommodate a variety of food. The controls are protected with mechanical guards to prevent users from bumping into them and changing the levels accidentally. This unit is heated with cast-in dome elements, and to protect them from damage, a low-water light indicates when it needs to be refilled to prevent burnout.
The Vollrath 38116 hot food table has a poly cutting board at the top that offers a space for employees to work and prepare meats, vegetables, and other products. A sturdy stainless steel undershelf can be used to hold kitchen equipment nearby. The remainder of the unit is made of stainless steel as well to provide durability and rust resistance. After use, water removal is facilitated with a brass drain.
