Dexter-Russell 18173 Bread Knife
Unless you're using the right type of knife, bread can be a tad difficult to cut through. The San-Safe 18173 Bread Knife blade is scalloped, and this design allows the bread to be cut and not smashed as long as you use a sawing motion. The sharp points on the edge are what allows the blade to cut through bread so easily by breaking through the crust. This type of knife is especially useful for foods with waxy skin, like tomatoes and peppers, because the scalloped edge can crop the skin where a straight edge knife might slip. Their superior blade allows for easier slicing while the unique edge geometry keeps them long lasting.
The San-Safe 18173 Bread Knife features a textured, slip-resistant, easy to clean, polypropylene handle that withstands both high and low temperatures. The impervious blade to handle seal provides the utmost in sanitary qualifications.
