With its precision guidance system, the Edlund 401 electric knife sharpener maintains a perfect edge with each use. It can sharpen various knives, from cleavers to scalloped edge bread knives. To ensure the knives are sharpened thoroughly, the heel is pushed close to the stone using a specially engineered guide. For safety purposes, this unit shuts off automatically if too much pressure is applied, preventing wear and tear. The knife and grinding wheel assembly are removable for maintenance and cleaning.
