PowerFry3 High Efficiency Freestanding Gas Fryer

 

   Fryers are one of the best investments any food service business can make. You don't only have to use them to make the typical fries, chicken, or fish.    One popular option is the Vulcan 1TR45A, it was designed with your needs in mind. It is easy to use, clean, and will provide you with large amounts of fried goodies to serve your customers. It stands on a set of four, 6" adjustable casters, two of which are locking. The cabinet and fry tank are both constructed of stainless-steel. As long as you remember to maintain it, it will remain rust and corrosion free. The electronic, matchless ignition system uses 35,000 BTU/Hr. to extend oil life during start up and an idle rate of 4,318 BTU/Hr. The solid-state analog knob control allows you to control temperatures starting at a range of 200 to 390 degrees Fahrenheit with a digital display. The temperature will always remain within two degrees of where you specify. This ability greatly improves the overall performance of the unit and will provide it with speedy recovery time. Although, if something goes wrong and the temperatures get to high a hi-limit shut off valve will activate. This will shut off the gas connection and standing pilot. This is an exceptionally important feature to have in a fryer for the safety of your employees.

 

   The fry tank uses a ThreePass™ transfer system. Its unique configuration is more efficient than the standard fryer. This is because the system of heat exchange that takes place between the burners and the oil has more of a heat transfer surface area. It yields 60.9% of cooking efficiency and 72% thermal efficiency. The oil capacity of each fry tank is 45 to 50 pounds. This includes one set of twin fry baskets with plastic coated handles. At the bottom is a V shaped cold zone. A fryer that has a V shaped cold zone will work especially well if you're looking to fry foods that come frozen. It will capture any crumbs or other debris and keep them from burning which could have a negative effect on the taste of your food. Another perk of a V shaped cold zone is how easy it is to clean. However, once it is time to replace your oil, a 1-1/4" full port drain valve will easily drain everything out for you. The gas burners will automatically turn off when you are draining oil due to the drain valve interlock switch.

What are the gas requirements?

Make sure that you are working in an area with an adequate ventilation system. The supply pressure should be 7-9" W.C. for natural gas. It needs a 3/4" OD rear gas connection.

 

What is most approximate altitude that will allow this unit to function without problems?

This fryer does not require any special adjustments for varying altitudes of 0 to 10,000 feet. If you are working in an altitude that is not within that range, please inform your sales representative.

 

What is the required amount of clearance?

This unit needs a 6" clearance at both sides and the rear when adjacent to combustible construction. It also requires a 16" clearance at the top.

 

Does this unit have any warranties?
